Installation

Requirements

In order to install the package the following software must already be installed on your system:

- GNOME 2.x Desktop Environment <http://www.gnome.org>
- ppp 2.4.2 (now this exact version is needed) <http://www.samba.org/ppp>

Source Code Installation Instructions

To untar the tarball just place it anywhere you like, open a terminal (xterm, gnome-terminal or any other program you like), cd in that directory and type

tar xvfz gnome-dial-0.0.1.tar.gz
or
tar xvfj gnome-dial-0.0.1.tar.bz2

depending on the case, then press ENTER. Now cd in the source directory typing

cd gnome-dial-0.0.1

and pressing ENTER again. All the info you need to configure, compile and install the package are in the INSTALL file in this directory. If you have any questions or trobules send us a report (take a look at the 'Contacts' section of this website)-
